About Sanjay

Sanjay Suchak is a professional photographer specializing in concert, photojournalism, music, editorial, lifestyle, and advertising photography and serving the Washington, DC area and beyond. Originally from Buffalo, NY, he attended the State University of New York at Geneseo and the Universitat de Barcelona and holds a B.A. in International Relations and Business.

As a music photographer he has photographed some of the biggest names in music including Dave Matthews, Modest Mouse, Radiohead, The Allman Brothers Band, Ben Folds, M.I.A., The Black Eyed Peas, The Grateful Dead, Wilco, Tenacious D, Tom Jones, Ben Harper, and many more. Sanjay is available for hire to photograph concerts, tours, and festivals across the country for publications, bands, or promoters.

A staff photographer and writer for GratefulWeb.com, a staff photographer for Prefix Magazine, and a regular contributor to the Washington Photo Journal; his photographs have also appeared in numerous other publications and have won awards locally.
